Jesse's new toy box
Nanna suggested 'Jesse' when we were deciding on boys names the second time around. This was, in part, because of a nice kind boy who worked at the golf club and just happened to be named Jesse. After we settled on Jesse as the name for our newest edition Joan was happy to share the naming news with the kind young lad and he was honoured. A few months later while cleaning out their barn and deciding what to do with the handcrafted toy box his grandfather made him, the elder Jesse thought he'd like his namesake to have it. It looks here like the littlest Jesse is quite pleased with his gift.

This is the best. We'll have to send a copy to Jesse the elder. xo
ReplyDeleteHow appropriate a gift from the older Jesse to his little friend. Beautiful picture of both Oli and Jesse.
ReplyDeleteoh isn't that great--yes I remember that story about the other Jesse! would love to see a picture of him sometime to make the story complete!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you both, Jacq and Janice; I'll get on that. Love the boys in the box!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful toy box! Jesse and Oli can both store their toys in it.
